Introduction and Reaction mechanisms
Here, we talk about some basic but useful reaction mechanisms that are needed in organic and petrochemical synthesis. We start with a generalized video that talks about most of the relevant reactions and then take the reactions one by one for the purpose of discussion.

Chemical synthesis and reaction pathways (CSRP)
We discuss the various things to consider when trying to synthesize different products. We look at different examples and use different feed for our analysis. I advice that after watching each video, you try out the example yourself to help solidify your understanding of the concepts.

Flow diagrams
Learn how to put together flow diagrams (block and process flow diagrams) and how to read and interpret what is happening at each section of a block/process flow diagram.

Building blocks of the petrochemical industry
There are certain compounds and groups of compounds that are fundamental in the production of all other types of compounds. We call these the building blocks. It is necessary to know what they are, how they are produced, the processes involved in making them and the numerous things we can do with them.
